Celebration of World environment day 2024 at NCPOR & Maitri station.

On World environment day 2024, Director, NCPOR- Dr. Thamban Meloth and senior scientists at NCPOR celebrated the occasion by planting trees, contributing to a greener and brighter future. Dr. Thamban Meloth, Director, NCPOR addressed the NCPOR family addressing the importance of world environment day. Dr. Rahul Mohan, Group Director, NCPOR, in his address emphasized on the need to take small yet important actions to conserve environment.

Also World environment day 2024 celebrated at Maitri station- India's second research station in Antarctica. The leader of the 43ISEA(wintering team) - Sh. Subrata Moulik along with other team members at Maitri shared their perspectives on global environmental challenges.
