Evaluation of scientific proposals for 44th Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica (ISEA)

A two day National Workshop for evaluating scientific proposals for 44th Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica (ISEA) commenced on 30th April 2024 under the guidance of core committee-Prof. N.C.Pant, Dr. Rasik Ravindra, Dr. Vijay Kumar and Sh. M.Javed Beg. Dr. Rahul Mohan welcomed the delegates while Dr.Thamban Meloth , Director, NCPOR emphasized about more scientific endeavours under ISEA. Dr. Rasik Ravindra informed about Antarctic law while Prof. N.C. Pant discussed the importance of including new technology in the scientific endeavours. Dr. Shailendra Saini briefed about the ISEA.During Day 1 of the workshop, core committee and expert committee member evaluated 18 proposals from 13 institutes/ universities across India.
