The launching and briefing lectures for the members of the voyage team of 43ISEA were conducted on 14-15 Dec 2023. Prior to the briefing sessions, members underwent fire-fighting training.Dr Pradip Malhotra, Regional Director (Retd.), Ministry of Health and Shri Sunny Chugh Scientist, IMD, were special invities. Dr Malhotra briefed the Voyage members of 43ISEA about the health hazards and common medical problems at Antarctica. While Shri Chugh briefed on safety issues and shared his experiences of 37ISEA.
