1. Satellite remote sensing applications for advance understanding of the polar sea-ice, ocean-ice-atmosphere interaction, ocean color, and marine phytoplankton blooms in a warming climate.
2. Retrieval and validation of oceanic environmental products from satellite observations to monitor the physical and biological processes in the marine environment.
3. Exploration of sea floor features using multibeam swath bathymetric survey and satellite altimetry.
