NCPOR hosted a delegation from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, on 4 January 2026, led by Prof. Lucy Johnston, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) University of Canterbury. Dr. Thamban Meloth, Director, NCPOR, provided an overview of the Centre’s major scientific activities. This was followed by interactions with senior scientists focusing on potential avenues for collaboration in polar and ocean research. The delegation also visited NCPOR’s state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
