At the 11th edition of the India International Science Festival (IISF2025) Mega Expo, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Earth Sciences, inaugurated the MoES–NCPOR pavilion, celebrating India’s leadership in polar and ocean sciences.

Joined by Hon’ble Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, and Secretary, MoES, Dr M. Ravichandran, HMoES also interacted live with the Indian expedition team members at Maitri and Bharati Stations, Antarctica. The team received high appreciation for their resilience, scientific excellence, and outstanding contributions to understanding the Earth’s polar systems.

The Minister’s encouraging message reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to advancing polar research and strengthening India’s global scientific presence.
