The first team of the 45th Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica (45th ISEA) departed Mumbai on 31 October, landed at Novo Airstrip, and reached Maitri Station on 4 November 2025.
Their arrival marks the start of India’s 2025–26 Antarctic research season, continuing the nation’s long-standing commitment to polar science and environmental stewardship.
