The National Conference on Polar Sciences (NCPS 2025) - Day 2 - Opening

The National Conference on Polar Sciences (NCPS 2025) opened today (Day 2) with a ceremonial lamp lighting.  Graced by Dr. M. Ravichandran, Secretary, MoES, as Chief Guest ,the inaugural also featured eminent dignitaries  that included Prof. Gary Wilson, President, SCAR; Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra Director General-Meteorology, IMD; Prof. Sunil Kumar Singh, Director, CSIR-NIO;Dr. Vandana Chaudhary, Scientist G, MoES,   Dr. Thamban Meloth, Director NCPOR, and Dr. Rahul Mohan, Chairman NCPS 2025. 

The conference sets the stage for India’s leading scientists, academicians, and polar researchers to share knowledge and advance polar science.
