At the Young Polar Scientist Meet (YPSM) of NCPS 2025, Dr. Amita Prabhu, Scientist-F, iitm pune, delivered the keynote lecture “Assessing the Role of Polar climate and its implications: Current Knowledge and Future Directions”.  She emphasised how changes in the polar regions significantly influence the Indian tropical monsoon patterns, underscoring their global and regional importance.
