Celebration of National Science Day 2025 at NCPOR

Celebrating Sir C.V. Raman's discovery of the Raman Effect, we embrace this year’s theme: "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat." NCPOR had the privilege of hosting Dr. Stephen Chignell, Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Bristol, England, visited. He delivered an insightful talk on "A mixed-method approach to the history of science in the McMurdo Dry Valleys," exploring the evolution of Antarctic research in this unique, ice-free region of East Antarctica. He discussed the project’s mixed-methods approach, combining archival research, data analysis, and geographic studies.
