A pledge for cleaner oceans, a promise for a healthier future.

As part of Swachh Sagar Surakshit Sagar 5.0, NCPOR employees and staff members took the Swachh Sagar Surakshit Sagar pledge on 9 September 2026. Dr. Rahul Mohan, Scientist-G & Group Director at NCPOR, administered the pledge, reaffirming our commitment to keeping our oceans clean, protecting marine ecosystems, and promoting responsible actions for a healthier ocean.

Members of the 17th Indian Arctic Expedition (2026–27) took the Swachh Sagar, Surakshit Sagar Pledge at India’s Arctic Research Station – Himadri, reaffirming their commitment to protecting our oceans and keeping the marine environment clean and safe. From the high Arctic to the global oceans, every action matters for a cleaner, healthier planet.
