Dr. Manish Tiwari, Scientist-F & Group Director (Arctic Operations), delivered an invited online talk at the International Scientific & Business Conference POLAR 2026, organized by the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, Saint Petersburg, on 20 May 2026.
Speaking in the session “International Polar Year (IPY) 2032–2033: New Opportunities for Scientific Cooperation”, he highlighted India’s polar research framework developed during IPY-4 and outlined NCPOR’s vision for strengthening international collaboration and advancing scientific initiatives towards the forthcoming IPY-5.
